Happy to be there

Gig at Old Town Artisans tonight went well. A couple of new friends showed up to hear us live for the first time. One of them liked the fact that even though we played some sad songs, I didn't act as though I was unhappy to be there. He specifically praised me for smiling at them.

Yet another data point.

True!

Ahhhh, when Paul McCartney sang "Yesterday," as sad a song as ever I've heard, I think all were gald to hear him, and he glad to be there.

Oooh, I want a time machine so I can go back and hear Paul McCartney sing "Yesterday."

Come to think of it, he's still around, making the occasional new album, and he probably sings some old stuff if he tours. I just suspect that a Paul McCartney ticket would be out of my price range and into the stratosphere. :)
