Greetings from Highland Park, Illinois. I spent most of yesterday on a plane and am happy to report that nobody tried to see me nekkid or grope me. Tucson International isn't on the TSA's list of airports to get the scanners. Midway Airport in Chicago doesn't have them yet.
In celebration, I leave you with this (hat tip @New Research Findings Two):

Security at airports is way out of control. I simply won't fly because of it. Yes, I want to be safe, but at a certain point, I'll take my chances rather than put up with invasive searches or scans.
PS--love the video!
I don't know. I think I'd actually prefer the second or two of inappropriate fondling. I'd hate to be in a plane and see some guy whip up a bomb from his underwear and think "Darn, it appears we should have let them touch our junk after all." I guess being blown up just sounds like a lot more of a nuisance to me. :) Still, I'm glad you weren't victim to the new age of airport molestations. Bravo! :)
If I thought those scanners were really keeping us safer, I might agree with you. I don't know. The problem is, they don't necessarily.
