Let This Be a Bridge

"When you don't know what to do, make art."
—Carolyn Anne Anderson

Let There Be a Bridge is the best response I've seen to Saturday's tragedy. It's by Carolyn Anne Anderson, whose gallery opening we played for a year and change ago.

If art ever needed a reason to exist, this would be it.

Bridges came up in UU Rev. Meg Riley's sermon on the shooting here: http://clf.uua.org/riley/Minnetonka_Sermon.pdf as she harked back to a bridge disaster and then quoted Solzhenitsyn about a bridgehead of good in our hearts. We really are all connected, even when the TV is off, but it sure is great to have our many media to run to when we need to feel a part of what's going on. - Kassy

I meant to say, our many media including ART! This piece, let there be a bridge, is so lovely and says so much. Thanks for sharing it.
